From 28 February to 3 March 2024, eight esteemed US and Canadian journalists embarked on a food and wine adventure as part of ‘The Charming Taste of Europe’ campaign to discover European products’ quality and values.<\/p>\n

Hosted by the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo, the expedition aimed to show the breathtaking landscapes and to explore the flavors contained in the region’s protected designations.<\/p>\n

Beyond the vineyards, the trip was a celebration of cultural exchange and culinary delights.<\/p>\n

From savoring rustic dishes rich in local ingredients to exploring the rich history enclosed in each cobbled street from Sulmona to Giulianova, every moment was an ode to the unrivalled charm of this land.<\/p>\n

About ten wineries were involved and over 27 wines tasted, with a special focus on the new Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.<\/p>\n
