On Monday, September 30, 2024<\/strong>, the vibrant city of New York hosted an exceptional event celebrating the renowned wines of Abruzzo, part of the Charming Taste of Europe<\/em> campaign. Held at the elegant Manhatta<\/strong> venue on Liberty Street, the event offered wine professionals and media an immersive journey into the rich heritage and flavors of Abruzzo wines.<\/p>\n

The day began with a masterclass<\/strong>, led by acclaimed Vinous<\/em> critic Eric Guido<\/strong>. Attendees explored the unique profiles of celebrated Abruzzo varietals, including Cerasuolo, Pecorino, Trebbiano<\/strong>, and the iconic Montepulciano d\u2019Abruzzo DOC<\/strong>, learning about their origins, production techniques, and characteristics.<\/p>\n

Following the masterclass, a Trade Walk-Around Tasting<\/strong> provided participants with a rare opportunity to connect directly with more than 20 distinguished producers from Abruzzo<\/strong>. This session allowed industry professionals to engage in one-on-one discussions, discover the stories behind the wines, and experience first-hand the quality and versatility that define Abruzzo’s winemaking tradition.<\/p>\n

The event beautifully showcased the dynamic blend of tradition and innovation that sets Abruzzo wines apart, leaving attendees inspired by the flavors of this Italian region.<\/p>\n
