Move the Passion: New York celebrated European wine culture
New York City recently became the setting for a full day dedicated to European wine culture, bringing together more than 2,000 participants across a series of activities hosted in three iconic Manhattan venues.
Held on June 8, Move the Passion offered an immersive experience combining wine, education, gastronomy and contemporary hospitality. Organized as part of The Charming Taste of Europe, the event provided different opportunities to discover the stories and character behind European wines.
The event began with an educational masterclass at Hall des Lumières, dedicated to Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo and reserved for trade professionals.
The trade programme continued with a walk-around tasting hosted by the Consorzio di Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo, welcoming more than 200 industry professionals and media guests.
The afternoon continued with an exclusive aperitivo, followed by a Gala Dinner bringing together 40 selected guests from the wine, hospitality and media sectors.
In the evening, Move the Passion opened its doors to consumers with a multi-venue experience spanning Hall des Lumières, New York Vintners and Arlo Soho Rooftop.
Wines of Abruzzo took centre stage throughout the programme, offering different ways to explore the region’s wines and their connection to the territory.
The strong attendance and enthusiasm from both industry professionals and consumers highlighted the growing interest in European wines in the U.S. market, making Move the Passion a memorable celebration of European wine culture in New York.
